Umm...I'm not sure you understood what I said. If the team that wins your SCT has bonus conversion, ppth, and powers and whatever-else that are comparable to other good teams across the country, I think it should get a bid. To take your example from last year, McGill, which won the D2 title in its sectional, had stats that, on a quick glance, compare pretty well with other teams that won bids. There are several of ways I'd like to see this dealt with, none of which will actually happen. I'd really like to see D2 be limited to players in their first year of play only, but another way to increase the number of D2 bids available (and ensure that the field is as good as can be) would be to fold community college SCTs into regular SCTs and have the same rules apply to community college players as apply to four-year college players.
