SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14th at the George Washington University contact ers_at_... or 202-904-3636 The George Washington University, in conjunction with George Mason University, is proud to announce the first annual George Gamow Memorial High School Open, to be held Saturday, October 14th, on the George Washington University campus in downtown Washington, DC. This tournament is open to all high-school teams from all states, commonwealths, districts, and territories of the US, as well as all provinces and territories of Canada. Teams from further afield than the DC-Maryland-Virginia area should contact the TD at the contact information listed below. While students are free to make inquiries, we request that all registration be performed by an authorized staff member of the high school. The tournament will be held in abbreviated PACE format and will be a qualifying tournament for PACE nationals 2001. PACE format is here modified to include two fewer questions per section of round.
