This is the last call for participants for the St. Louis Open II: The Bhan-Einstein Condensate, an open ACF-style tournament to be held at Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday, Oct. 28. There will be separate awards for a second division comprised of freshman and sophomore teams. All teams are welcome to participate, and I can play matchmaker for those interested in playing that have no team. I will accept registrations through Wednesday, Oct. 25 and then close the field. The following teams are currently registered: Oklahoma (3) Wisconsin (1) Jeremy White, et al. (1) Illinois (1-2) Kentucky (2) Chicago (1) Indiana (1) St. Thomas (1) Wichita St. (2) Wash. U. (0-1) All the questions will be written by me, so no packet submission is necessary. The fees are as follows: Base Fee: $100 -$5 per working buzzer system -$10 per competent official (determined by me) -$15 for traveling 400+ miles one way (determined by Yahoo!) +$20 to purchase questions +$50 for insolence Also, following SLO II is the Terminal Academic Deficiency Disorder (TADD) Bowl, a singles tournament written by several members of the Wash.
