[This is an edited repost of the announcement from November 27, 2000.] The College Trivia Club of Case Western Reserve University announces its intention to run on April 28-29, 2001, a double undergraduate-only tournaments: the Bachelor's Undergraduate Trivia Tournament (Saturday) and the Don King Undergraduate Trash Tournament (Saturday/Sunday). Eligibility guidelines and question submission guidelines can be accessed off our web site at http://www.cwru.edu/orgs/trivia/Bachelors.pdf . We are looking to have a field of 18 teams for both competitions. We intend to recognize champions for the academic and trash phases as well as an overall sweepstakes winner, though the exact process is still under discussion. Teams are required to submit one packet of 25/25 questions for each phase of play; we are also allowing "double packets" of 40/40 in case two teams from the same school want to collaborate on a joint packet. Packets are to be submitted in the month of March 2001, with discounts offered based on date of submission (see the PDF document). Through a gentlemen's agreement, playoff packets will come from packets submitted to the double academic/trash tournament being held at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Moon Pie/RC Cola) as well as any other outside sources wishing to submit a packet to our tournament(s).
