Ah, but they are not the only national championship.
Complete legitimacy would indicate a verification as _the_
national championship, which has not happened despite the
problems with both CBI and ACF.

Your ignorance concerning this issue is meaningless to
me. What would quizbowl be without snide comments? At
least Goss and Michigan are good-natured enough to deal
with any such comments, and return fire when
appropriate...:)

Yes, but W-L is
_the_ most important comparison WITHIN a region. The
essential argument NAQT is making is that W-L is not
important unless you win your region, which is in conflict
with why most of us play. We don't play to score
points - we play to beat the crap out of each other.
That's the fun part...points are only secondary. If you
can't qualify through winning games, there is a flaw in
the system - THAT is my fundamental
argument.
