I have some questions from old tournaments lying
around...Penn Bowl I, JCV before it was JCV, some tournament at
James Madison. I even have one question set that's
handwritten and xeroxed. Some of them are halfway decent;
some of them aren't. For what it's worth, it looks
like Maryland packets have *always* been that
hard.
But remember that back then, there weren't that many
circuit schools -- although I'm surprised at how many
there were. There wasn't an invitational every weekend.
There wasn't a 7-team Michigan squad. There wasn't even
an NAQT to criticize.
What I'm getting at is
that now, QB has a bona fide subculture. This makes us
harder to stamp out.
