Several members of the community have asked me to clear the noise off this board. I have, like Bobby Brown, used my prerogative and deleted some of the more offensive and meaningless posts from the message board. That is posts with No Quizbowl content (essentially 'your mother wears combat boots', for individuals whose mothers do not play quizbowl). I did not get all of them as my time is finite, unlike some of the posters. Also, I cannot get the posts before they get emailed to those subscribing to the email version of the club. I have yet to delete members, though that day may come. I do not object to format wars, or even some sarcasm. Libel/slander should be avoided (for any number of reasons, least of which is that it is offensive), as should unnecessary use of expletives (which is generally ineffective). I have not so far deleted either. Individuals who wish to continue the flame war are free to go to the new club --> qbflame at <a href=http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/qbflame target=new>http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/qbflame</a> which I will proceed to completely ignore.
