Also worth
noting:

Also, to further Mike's
point about non-traditional students, many states have,
within the past decade, passed "enhancing" legislation,
requiring many teachers to return to school to further
their education for M.Ed and Ed.Spec. degrees every 5-8
years. This means that many more education degrees are
being handed out annually.
Couple this with the
fact that many secondary education pre-professionals
can double major in education and their specialized
field(s), making this cross-disciplinary, as well as
knowing education theory.
As for writing questions
on education theory, I would happily take "For 10
points--get this class quiet, attentive, and focused on
today's lesson."
That said, I was looking through
the majors of the two years worth of ICT players. I
was unaware I was the only one of a few who couldn't
do in the realm of QB, which is sort of ironic, I
suppose. Then again, maybe many more people have their
sites set on PhDs and what not?
