Thirty-five teams converged on St. Louis for the largest NAQT sectional in history, held at Washington University. Results and soon-to-be completed statistics are now posted on our website: <a href=http://restech.wustl.edu/~collbowl/2002sct target=new>http://restech.wustl.edu/~collbowl/2002sct</a> In Division 1, Chicago A (15-0) [Thompson, Reece, Cohn, Bennett] defeated Illinois A (13-2) [Lien, Malamen, Rothfuss, Henderson] in the final round by a score of 360-310. Carleton A (11-3) [Ewert, Lyon, Idemmili, Beyer] captured the undergraduate title and also finished third overall. Top scorers and medal awardees in Division 1 included Mike Wehrman [UMKC], Mike Witry [Iowa], Wesley Mathews [Indiana], Brian Ulrich [Wisconsin], Mike Sorice [Illinois B], and Jeff Bennett [Chicago A]. In Division 2, Carleton A (12-2) defeated Missouri-Columbia (11-3) to capture the first place title. Teams from Wisconsin, Iowa State, Grinnell, and Illinois filled out the top six. Medal winners in division 2 were Jeff Morrison [ISU A], James Holst [Iowa], Kevin Clair [Carleton A], Brad Houston [Grinnell], Adam Engelhart [Wisconsin], and Sudheer Potru [Illinois].
