Obviously, the important thing here is to distinguish between
quizbowl--generally considered to be a Good Thing by this group--and
College Bowl, a specific format of quizbowl, which has elicited mixed
responses from the group. As have the other formats.
If you have been interested in quizbowl at the high school level, you
by all means should at least check out the college level competitions.
