I have to agree with Stephanie. While I believe that the maturity
level in the chatroom could, at times, use some improvement, I don't
think it's any individual's place--even the ops--to enforce standards
of "decency." However, if things get to the point where enough people
start coplaining to ops about what's going on, a "cooling-off" period
could be instituted (with a public vote, not just at the whim of the op).
I don't think anything I've seen in the chatroom has crossed the line
and is deserving of such treatment, so right now, I'd prefer to leave
this dialogue in the "hypothetical" stage.
