This is to confirm that UTC will hold two open tournaments on the
first weekend in August, but with a twist. This year we'll start with
Muck Masters, the trash tournament, on Sat., August 3. This will be
an all-day event with a bonus music competition. Then on Sun., August
4, we'll hold a shorter academic tournament, Moc Masters. Moc Masters
will be at medium difficulty level and will last somewhere around 7 to
9 rounds to allow travel time home from the festivities. Both
tournaments are open to all comers, and both will be packet
submission. Packet specs, fees, timetable, and other pertinent
details will follow early next week.
