The team finished 3rd in the IHSA State Tournament in 2005 under Heather McKay. The team is less active now and forfeited its only match in the 2011 IHSA Tournament.

Saint Teresa High School is a private high school in Decatur, Illinois. It competes in Class A, the "small school" division, of the Illinois High School Association's (IHSA) State Championship Series.

The team was very competitive for many years under coach John Burke, who is a member of the IHSSBCA Hall of Fame, winning an IHSA State title in 1997. Burke later coached Warrensburg-Latham to an IHSA State Championship and then moved on to Streator.

After Burke left, the team was taken over by Barbara Gottemoller. Under Gottemoller, the team attended many invitationals and took 2nd place in 1998 and won Sectionals in 1999 and 2000. The team finished 3rd in the IHSA State Tournament in 2005 under Heather McKay.
