Richwoods High School is a public high school in Peoria, Illinois. They compete in Class 2A, the "large school" division of the Illinois High School Association's (IHSA) State Championship Series. They also compete in the Big 12 Conference & Peoria Area League.

The team was coached for many years by IHSSBCA Hall of Fame coach Kathleen Brooks-Juergens. Behind the strong play of Robert Shimmin, the team won the 1995 IHSA State Championship Tournament. Brooks-Juergens retired in 2005.

Richwoods were the first Peoria-area school to win an IHSA state title. Until 2012, they were the only school to do so until Peoria Christian won the Class 1A title. The Knights were the only Peoria-area Class 2A school to finish in the top-4 of the IHSA tournament until 2017, when Dunlap finished 4th.

The team saw a brief resurgence in the late 2000's & early 2010's, but has since resided as mid-field team.
