PORTA High School is a public high school in Petersburg, Illinois, which is near Springfield. The school is named PORTA because it draws from the towns of Petersburg, Oakford, Rock Creek, Tallula, and Atterberry. It is classified as Class A, the "small school" division, in the Illinois High School Association's (IHSA) State Championship Series.

PORTA enjoyed success under coaches Connie Davis and then Debbie Martin during the 1990s. Martin on occasion hosted the Masonic tournament and traveled with Team Illinois to PAC. The team also won many matches under coach Mark Grant, including the 2008 IHSA State Championship. During the 2010-11 season, they won their Class A Tournament and place in the Regular Division at New Trier Varsity. Both of whom have since been inducted into the IHSSBCA Coaches Hall of Fame - Grant (2016) & Martin (2019), one of only a few programs in Illinois to boast multiple Hall of Fame honorees.

During the 2010-11 season, PORTA hosted an IHSSBCA Kickoff, Scobol Solo Mirror, Frosh/Soph Tournament (using an NAQT A Set), Class A Tournament (using an NAQT IS Set), and IHSA Regional and Sectional.
