Niantic-Harristown used to be a public high school located in Niantic, Illinois, which is between Springfield and Decatur. The school building is still used, but the school is now called Sangamon Valley since a 2004 merger with Illiopolis.
For many years, Niantic-Harristown was coached by Donna Cheatham Robinson, who is now in the IHSSBCA Hall of Fame. The team won the Class A 1996 IHSA State Championship Tournament. That team was captained by Michael Pyle, who went on to become the Chief Economic Adviser to Vice President Kamala Harris.
