It's very hard to play down what Matt Weiner achieved at the NAQT Sectional, one where 4 out of the 6 teams that competed qualified for the ICT. Any disadvantages he has as a one-player team are far outweighed by his sheer capacity to take tossups early. A team can't score a lot if they don't first get the tossups from him. Top- 15 seems extremely reasonable (The top-8 finish at a talent-filled Penn Bowl seems to support this).
