Dave, First, the sectionals were chaotic, but I was not rude and I did answer questions to the best of my ability. As for your bashing the team, first, we had the lead on Okla A at the half in the Truman State title game; second, CBI was just a bad tourney for us, as we even lost to Oklahoma Baptist (whom we beat 555-90 earlier in the year) and if you look at the CBI stats, my teammates were buzzer rocks, as I think our #2 player averaged about 7 PPG. Also, those buzzer rocks were not my regular teammates and were at their first intercollegiate tournament, as none of my regular teammates played in the campus tournament. I also encouraged my teammates by telling them that they would become better with time. With my regular teammates, I think we would have made the playoffs. I may be an arrogant jackass (probably because I'm an only child from a farm with little personal interaction and a lot of self-confidence), but I am not a rude person. Also, Dave, I doubt we at Mizzou will be coming to Route 66 because we're going to have a high school tournament that weekend (opening weekend in Missouri high school competition). I may be the most hated person in quiz bowl, but I intend to keep on playing and establish a legitimate reputation. My apologies if I sound a little angry, but Jeopardy! was pre-empted today due to breaking coverage of severe storms in the area. KOMU had better show that episode of the Tournament of Champions sometime or I will be very steamed. Jason Mueller --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, theblasmo <no_reply_at_y...> wrote: > Sheesh.
