As far as "up-and-coming," mad props to Stephanie Craig from Kansas. She hit 33.33 PPG at ACF Regionals and 66.43 PPG at Route 66... as a first-year player on more or less a first-year program. Stephanie may be the best first-year player period in this region, and that includes some good ones we have here. --Josh, P. t. altaica --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, dpucollegebowl <no_reply_at_y...> wrote: > I was scoping out the competition for the Kidder Cup this evening, > and it seemed to me that the field should be made up of some of the > coolest, most easy-going players on the circuit, but at the same > time people who are pretty good. > > There are some people I have really come to like and enjoy talking > to that I don't or haven't gotten to play against much (Mike Burger, > Dave Bykowski, etc), > > There are some good up-and-coming players (Leo Wolpert, Matthew > Marjan, etc.), > > And the field seems about as evenly matched as any singles field > I've played in.
