My point was "let the match be played". I have no a priori clue as to how the match would play out but it seems that "my boys" - and they are not my boys, mind you - would be overmatched according to you. I in fact do know what I'm talking about - and I was at no point implying that one team was better than another. My point again: play the match. And that's fine - I think you could have very well stayed out of it but on behalf of your personal ego trip I see you felt compelled to respond. Nevertheless, you should be very proud of your teammates, you performed no easy task in winning the undergraduate title and for that you should be much congratulated. I'm sure Sudheer is quite good. -RsR P.S. My boys are the boys who won the Overall D1 Championship. --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, "Michael Angelo Sorice" <msorice_at_u...> wrote: > > Or perhaps you could arrange a Illinois/UCLA match with the Sudheer, > > Sorice and Andrew on the Illinois team. > I was going to stay out of this (this time around) as my views on the > matter have been well-known for some time but, on behalf of my > teammates and myself, I feel compelled to remind you not to kid > yourself.
