Jacob O'Rourke is the current Secretary of the Missouri Quizbowl Alliance and an assistant coach at Washington (Missouri High School). He formerly played quiz bowl at Truman State and wrote for and served as the Host Contact for HSAPQ until the company's dissolution in the fall of 2017. Jacob either moderates or runs the control room at several events throughout the state.

Only playing for his senior year of high school in the MSHSAA format, Jacob did not encounter good quiz bowl until his first practice at Truman State University.
